Our Farm

Fox Den Stables is currently located in the gently rolling hills of Smithville, West Virginia.  We specialize in breeding naturally gaited Tennessee Walking Horses for trail, showing, and pleasure.  We breed for the natural gait and are proud to offer some of the most naturally gaited Walking Horses in the industry.

We currently stand three beautiful stallions.  Each offering his own style and attributes.  Gen's Major Threat is a stunning blood bay that consistently produces truly natural gaited babies with outstanding dispositions.  Pusher's Wild Thang is a remarkable black sabino that not only offers color, but a top show record and the ability to pass that quality of performance to his offspring.  Our gorgeous black stallion, They Call Me Wildfire, will breed a few select mares this season.  We are optimistic that he will continue the tradition of passing on the show quality, natural running walk to his offsrping.

No breeding barn would be complete without its mares.  Our foundation of natural walking mares allows us to produce some of the finest, natural Walking Horses available.  We offer mares of all colors, from palomino to champagne and sabino to tobiano.  Our mares are selected for the quality of gait, bloodlines, and their dispositions.  We have direct daughters of Carbon Copy, Ebony's Mountain Man, Stormy's John Mack, Spirit of Apache, Pride's Dark Spirit, The Pusher C.G., Go Boy's Nite Storm, Powerful Threat and Silver Design.  Our champagne and palominos trace back to Barker's Moonbeam and Golden Lady.  We also offer many mares with no Pride of Midnight breeding.

Visitors are always welcome at our farm.  Please feel free to contact us to set up a time to come view our horses.
